I meet Nancy at the Castle in the Clouds hiker’s parking lot at 10:00 am. So good to see her smiling face. We talk about how she’s feeling and the fact she has lost eight pounds and can’t wait to finish the month of low calorie eating on her diet. We do a 2-mile hike to pick up a section of the Oak Ridge Trail that we missed. It’s beyond fantastic to walk in boots with no snow and no snowshoes! We are both ecstatic. The short hike feels perfect.

We spend the afternoon shopping at EMS and having lunch at the Black Cap Grille. A perfect day.
