Hammond and Weetamoo Trails

Trails: Hammond Trail, Weetamoo Trail

Yesterday Pat and I hiked around Mt. Chocorua (Hammond and Weetamoo Trails), covering new ground in our effort to walk all of the trails in the White Mountains. Our hike reminded me that it doesn’t always have to be about getting to the summit, or even killing yourself to get there, or walking enough mileage until you are ready to drop. The Weetamoo Trail was really beautiful, open pine woods, a beautiful brook, and a mammoth boulder called Weetamoo Rock. And very few people. Beautiful hike and an even more beautiful reminder.
